Thermogenic foods boost your metabolism, as they increase the heat & energy in the body. Eating some of these foods daily can assist your body burn more calories & accelerate weight loss. Try hot pepper, ginger, cinnamon – and of course, green tea! All these are well known for their thermogenic (fat burning) potential.

Never fast in an attempt to lose weight faster. You will lose a few pounds quickly, but very soon after that your body is going to slam on the brakes & save as much energy & fluid as possible, which means that you stop losing weight, you may even gain a little back.

Avoid dangerous supplements that claim to try to accelerate weight loss. There are several that claim to help you lose weight quickly, but they can cause serious side effects such as heart palpitations, dizziness, kidney, liver damage or worse. There are no miracle pills that makes you lose weight without changing your habits – take the sensible route & protect your health.

Over working out in effort to accelerate weight loss can be very damaging. Pay attention to your body & listen to the signs that you’re pressing too hard. If your muscles are stiff or weak, or if you feel dizzy, pain everywhere, or if you struggle to breath, these are all signs that you exhausted. Your workout should be challenging, but not so challenging that you don’t think you can handle them.

Just use common sense. It is okay to want to speed up weight loss to a reasonable extent – in other words, don’t drag it out unnecessarily. Remember that losing weight too quickly, can put your health at risk, especially if you take drastic measures to do it.
